The rooms boast solid stone walls from the old stables, providing a unique coolness in the summer and warmth in the winter. An en-suite bathroom in pale beige and white features a large walk-in shower with plentiful hot water, and the cozy bar area has got that perfect rustic feel with oak beams and a wood-burning fire.
Before arrival, reaching out for a late check-out proved futile—no response via multiple channels left me a bit frustrated. In the morning, the need to pre-order breakfast felt a bit clunky, and clarity on their check-in process wasn’t the smoothest, as there was no clear direction to the room from the car park. Lastly, while the charming decor is quaint, I noticed the lack of thorough dusting, with some cobwebs hanging from the beams that could've used a little attention.

I stayed for one night in a lovely double room where the en-suite was spotless and the beds were super comfy. I loved unwinding in the cozy bar and enjoying a delicious full English breakfast the next morning. The only downside was that the room could've used a bit more lighting for late-night reading, but overall it was a fantastic stay! 😊
